to avoid transmitted diseases(cold, flu) and feel good and energised
1-add more warming drinks and meals
They warm the body and up your immunity as the weather becomes cooler and flu season surges
This includes types of meals and food that warm the body:
1-Soups and broth for gut health, immunity, and collagen production
2-stews that are rich in vegetables and provide nutrients to your body
3-spices like turmeric, ginger, and garlic, which are anti-inflammatory
4-Teas like ginger tea, turmeric latte, and hot cocoa
They provide warmth since the weather becomes cooler and help your body fight diseases as we get into the flu and cold seasons.
Also, in traditional Chinese medicine,
they say it helps the body digest food better, balance body temperature, and provides energy
Personally, i drink lemon with ginger and turmeric regularly to fight diseases and if I notice that I have a little sore throat
2-connecting spiritually/religiously
We are souls that need to connect with our creator to feel at peace,
and other things that are related to your respective religions
which have an effect on our mental and physical health
This can mean in all religions to pray, read your holy book, follow your holy book teaching..etc
I do that as regualry as i can
3-adding immune-supporting food
To help your body fight transmissible diseases(flu, cold)
and other inflammations, which supports your overall health
These foods include, but are not limited to:
1-antioxidant foods like berries, nuts, leafy greens, citrus fruits, and green tea
to prevent cellular damage, thus supporting the immune system

4-time to do something relaxing(cozy it up)
Set a time each day, week, or month to relax and feel cozy
to help you reduce stress, calm your mind and body, and improve your mental health
Things that relax me and I enjoy :
Reading, watching a rom-com or a cozy comedic series,
journaling for thoughts unloading and reflection, reading the quran, praying (duaa), coloring
Think about what makes you relax, and if you don’t have any idea, try different ideas until you find yours

5-adding 10 squats throughout the day (small movement)
The goal is to do small movements throughout the day every few hours
that not just easy, but something that doesn’t take time
Examples: i will do 10 squats every 2 hours, i will do 10 jumping jacks every 3 hours..etc
movement you can do: squats, push-ups, walking around the house for 5 minutes, one simple stretch, jumping jacks ..etc
To keep your energy up, reduce tiredness, and incorporate movement, which will improve your health

6-weekly function workouts (ie.compound exercises)
Adding compound exercises regularly to your workout routine.
Examples of these exercises are squats, lunges,, push-ups,..etc.
There are more exercises that are fun and challenging (tip: look them up online
The goal is to get stronger for everyday work
so you don’t lose your strength from sitting down and not using your muscles
You can do it daily, weekly, or monthly.
I dedicate a week each month to doing different exercises
because i mainly do weightlifting regularly
7-sun exposure
As the days become shorter, there will be less time for daylight, which can affect your mental health
Sunlight has many benefits to your mood, sleep and body, and overall health
So, getting enough sun exposure is important while still applying sunscreen
Prioritize it through: going out, taking a walk(plus, you’ll get to enjoy the leaves and the beautiful weather), or simply opening the windows

They are fun, uplifting, upleveling, energizing, or
relaxing activities you pick based on what interests you
So, what is interesting to you now or has been for a while? Try them and see which sticks with you
As long as the hobby is fun, it doesn’t matter what it is
Things I would love to pick up are:
Sketching, Coloring, jogging, making templates on notion
10-include supplements such as omega-3,vitamin d,vitamin c
Disclaimer: Don’t take any supplements without consulting a doctor
These are supplements to help you this season, as each supports the body and mind’s health
1-Vitamin C for strengthening the body’s immune defenses,
collagen production, tissue repair and growth, and iron absorption
2-Vitamin D to avoid having low levels of vitamin D since daylight becomes shorter, which will affect many functions
and most noticeably your mood and energy(you feel tired and mentally fatigued)
It’s important for improving your mood, reducing anxiety and stress, and aiding
the many other functions the body needs it for, like building bones and keeping them, and immune funtion
3-Omega-3 has many benefits, like reducing inflammation,
lowering blood pressure, and decreasing inflammation in the arteries.
may reduce the symptoms of depression and anxiety, and
helps with memory which reduces the risk of dementia, plus supports vision
Take each as recommended on the bottle or by your physician
11-eat seasonal food that is rich in vitamins and antioxidants, such as squash, apples, pumpkin, and root vegetables
You should eat them because:
They are in season, so they have better flavour, peak nutrient content,
have less or no preservatives,
and their nutrients align with the season to support your body’s needs
You can make them as soup, stews, or different fall-specific drinks (important to make them as healthy as possible)

Final thoughts,
When you add new things to your daily life,
it’s best to choose a few at a time so you’ll adhere to them better and thus reap the benefits.
Choose things you can add easily to your daily routine and that would give you a great benefit this fall
