Self-Care Mindset

Start by first accepting that you will sometimes still get stressed and overwhelmed but you know it is okay and you forgive yourself if you don’t follow through with your plans or you were not as productive as you want to be. you just go and recharge your mind, body, and soul and that’s what’s self-care is

Second move at the speed that helps you enjoy your life while going for your dreams. life happens you have other responsibilities and things to take care of

let’s talk some Benefits Of Self Care

  1. Reduce stress and anxiety
  2. Elevate your mood and spirit
  3. Improve your health
  4. Create a positive and fresh look on life
  5. Increase your self-worth, esteem, confidence
  6. It is going to change your relationship with yourself and others

and so much more…

For me self-care equal self-love. I started to see a difference in my thinking when I started to incorporate little things to take care of me and give my body, mind, and soul what it needs and keep it consistent as I can because with all no means I am not perfect sometimes I do and sometimes I don’t sometimes I do part of the activities

So, if you have never thought of this or heard of it or heard of it but never really done anything to do it because deep down you have the thoughts that you don’t have time for that right now, later when I am free or achieved this and that you keep saying this until something happens that force you to take a step back and reset

How to create a simple but effective self-care routine

(create your own self care routine)

General Tips

1-make it easy and simple: pick something that you can absolutely do

2-plan what you will do as self-care

3-schedule it because most of the time if you don’t you won’t follow through or just build it onto an existing habit

4-include it in a routine you are doing like your morning or night routine

5-don’t over do it just:  do one or two things each time to help you build the habit of taking care of yourself then you can go from there

6-make self-care habits that you include in your daily life

7-be easy and forgiveness toward yourself if you fall from doing it sometimes because we all do. the important thing to get up and get back at it again

8- finally, asses and reflect see if the things you planned for your self-care working for you or you need to change things. If you didn’t find something that works for you keeps  trying until you find something

Examples of self-care activities to create or add to your routine

Exercising in the morning

and so much more…

Just ask yourself. what makes you happy, relaxed, recharged? and start to write some stuff that you did notice about yourself before or just make a list of things you think that might work and try them if they didn’t work change them and so on

Finally, know that having  an emergency self-care routine is helpful because things happen even if you are taking care of yourself and you still sometimes need to reset

Self care is so so important. I don’t have a specific routine because self care is very subjective on the day and how I’m feeling. I could never have a set routine for it because it’d feel like a chore. So it adapts to how I’m feeling that day. Sometimes self care for me is simply having a wash and eating something.

This is such a great post and such an good reminder that self-care is important. I really love your suggestions and how you have included a range of ideas. My favourite things to do are yoga, walking, reading and having a bath in the evening. I 100% agree that if we miss something out, we shouldn’t be too hard on ourselves, sometimes doing nothing is the self-care. Fab post, thank you for sharing lovely <3 xx
