Improve Your Life With These 9 Things: Apps and Websites Edition

there are so many ways that we can improve our lives. improving our life doesn’t always need a grand thing to do that. it could be a simple and easy thing we have or do that can make a huge difference.

so, I present to you these 9 things that improved my life as of late and coincidingly it turned out to be apps and websites.

I hope it helps you too. some of them you may use or overused by others but I am sharing what I use (not to copy).

Let’s get to it

Iherb.com

It’s a health and wellness online store. I think everyone heard of because it’s so popular and ship to so many countries in the world and fast. it has options for vegan, gluten-free, keto and organic.

I like how fast it is that’s one of the reasons I shop there and it has many of essentials from my protein supplement to body soap, cream, other food supplements like peanuts butter, skincare.

Also, I like the reward system called loyalty credits it has which help me have a discount each time I buy before it expires which after two months from the time you order.

Podcast

My favorite tool to learn and be around great minds and makes my goals feel normal.

A great way to consume knowledge on the go and wherever I do something mindless like preparing food, washing, going out, working out..etc you get it. makes the experience whole lot better; it’s an efficient way to use my time while doing such tasks.

If you want Oprah, Tim Ferriss, Tom Bilyeu, Kathrin Zenkina and so many more to be your mentors this how; you get to spend time with them and absorb their knowledge and be around their energy, what an amazing thing, don’t you agree?

For Android users I recommend castbox it has a user-friendly interface it’s better than other apps I used.

Flo

Is the app I use for tracking my cycle. it’s been helpful in predicting my period.

It gave me ease of mind I don’t need to remember if my period is coming or not because it’s predictions is accurate 80% of the time. also, it helped me a lot to learn about my cycle.

This app educates you about your cycle and gives advice on how to deal with certain things happens to you during the cycle.

There are so many apps like this but this one that I use and didn’t give trouble that requires me to change it.

Google calendar

One of the best free apps, software out there . So helpful in organizing my day and give me structure and sense of time.

We think we don’t have time and be blind to the numerous hours we spend aimlessly.

It will give a great understanding of how you use your time. start by just recording what you do each hour on the calendar then observe how much time you spent here and there

After that, start blocking/scheduling your time. follow someone way and make changes as you see fit for your life and what you have to do

I have written a post about scheduling your time click here if you want to know how to do it

know that things change so is your schedule. so, don’t get hung up on it. try different ways to block your time and don’t get stuck on one way

don’t fit your life into the calendar but make your calendar fit your life and what is happening in it

Lingo Deer

It is a language learning app and a good one too. it has other languages(Spanish, Japanese.chinese and others). I use it to learn Korean

Why do I like it? simple because it has clear pronunciation, made grammar easy, made vocabulary fun. a note to you if you are going to learn a language: you must have a notebook even if the app good but you need to write still.

Learning languages is fun and it gives me the ability to get emerged into different cultures and people which is great.

An Eye-opening because the more I know about people the more I see how similar they are despite the obvious differences.

But deep down we all have fundamental thinking, feelings that we all share.

Elevate

An app to train my cognitive powers on speaking, writing, math, reading and listening. it’s fun to do. don’t take too much time maybe 10 minutes for max.

Book depository.com

My favorite book store online because it shipped worldwide. has free shipping worldwide too. It has too many coves options if you know what I mean (book lover I am seeing you).

Yesstyle.com

A Korean and Japanese skincare store( sell more than cosmetics and skincare from clothes to house and lifestyle items).

I got into skincare after I learned the Korean skincare method and way of thinking about skincare which I liked so much that lead me to start doing skincare.

Consequently, I started using Korean and Japanese products most often. which lead me to this site.

There’re others but I like this one because it has free shipping. also, other sites I know don’t sell other Asian products

Tree/Brain focus

These are apps I use when I am distracted and I want to finish the task at hand. I feel it’s like having someone keeps watch over me so, I don’t play and distract myself here and there.

I set it to how long I want it then I start working until the time is up.

Tree it’s like a game where you grow a tree during the time you work until the time is up but if you exit the app the tree will die.

Brain focus follows the Pomodoro technique where you work for 25 minutes then 10 minutes break for how long you want.

let’s build our wildest dreams
