Relax Your Mind To Take Control Of Your Life

“A relaxed mind is a healthy mind”  steve miller

We go around running, working hard, taking action to create our dream lives and achieve our goals but sometimes we forget that in order for change to happen we need to let our minds relax to absorb and reprogrammed for our success because if your mind in constant state of taking actions which is good but to program it and change the thoughts and believes that holding us back and find solutions and be in flow to create what we need and want we must get to a relaxed state of mind where we can think probably, create and make.

I am guilty of this too I used to do exercises to relax my mind and body but I stopped because I thought I don’t deserve to be relaxed because in my mind being relaxed means having free time to do stuff like pampering myself watch TV, going to spa,…etc whatever fancy stuff you see people do in youtube and Instagram. in this stage of building my dream life while I am  not yet achieved bigger goals.

I always thought that for people who accomplished so many because they worked hard and got results while I just started but when I got back to reading chapter 3 from the book 7 secrets of confidence I was reminded why I need to do it regularly like I used to when I followed what the book said. It helped to programme my mind to be confident I was able to do penetrate my subconscious and use the affirmations and the other methods and I saw myself change from a person with zero confident to fifty which is huge for me.

I remembered being relaxed isn’t that image I hold in my mind of having free time for tv, going to the beach, partying or shopping or taking bubble bath it’s about the state of mind which can get to through some relaxing exercises

the relaxed state makes you acceptable and open than when you’re on the active state

Relax Your Mind To Take Control Of Your Life

After you understood the importance of relaxing your mind to your life, health, productivity and more

I am going to share some techniques to help you relax your mind I used and I liked from the book (7 secrets of confidence by steve miller)

techniques to help you relax your mind

The 1st one is my favorite and called “squeeze out the stress” and it goes like this

1-sit down in a comfortable place and close your eyes

2-tense each muscle group starting from your feet to ankle, calves, up through your body to the neck, head and face hold for the count of three then mentally say the word relax as you visualize seeing the word written then slowly breath out and release the tension in

that muscle group(here each muscle group alone you do the steps)

3-slowly breath in as you tense all your muscles together and hold to the count of three then release the tension as you slowly exhale while mentally say the word relax

2ed techniques  called “go limp and slack

1-go somewhere safe and comfortable, close your eyes

2- take 12 deep breathes and slowly start to relax each muscle of the body as you do

3-imagine the muscles become limp and slack and release unnecessary tension

3ed techniques called ” learn to center yourself

1-pay attention to your feet placed on the floor

2-stand tall and allow all the tensions to drift down through your body and out through to your toes

3- do it for five minutes while breathing deeply

More tips on how to relax your mind

1- laugh more smiling even when there is nothing to laugh about or at will change your inner chemistry

2-workout regularly there are countless benefits to exercising this one of them

3-watch what you eat and reduce unbeneficial food to your body and mind like refined sugar food, fatty and fast food, over drinking caffeine …

4-use aromatherapy scent to help you relax there are some plants that used to relax your body and mind like lavender, chamomile, and ylang-ylang

As you try to relax you’ll find it difficult at the beginning if you didn’t done before so be patient and know that you’ll get there but it’ll take time and work first your body going relax faster than your mind.

Important to remember is you must not try to force relaxation you need to allow it to happens.

keep practicing relaxation and be patient and the rewards will be so great for your life.

peace and love

Thank you for this. I’ve been experiencing many of the side affects that you mentioned and I didn’t know why. To see them and to see a possible reason why has lifted my spirits a bit – thank you. I am going to try the three exercises you talked about and hopefully I can begin to work through it!
