Sunday reset routine

My intentions for Sunday are to prepare for the upcoming week and relax by doing things for myself.

giving myself a guilt-free day off to do the things I want.

You start your Sunday with your intention and go from there

Plan what you will do based on these intentions

And I will start from the beginning of the day to the end,

Sharing what I do to have a productive yet recharging Sunday routine

Sunday morning routine

I start my day with praying (spiritual activity), then lemon water, water, and coffee (hydrating my body)

Maybe journaling or reading affirmations(mindset alignment).

Then, watching something relaxing or reading (fun and relaxation)

I do the same thing for the rest of the week, except that i get straight to working after journaling

Think of activities that will nourish your body, mind, and spirit to do here

productive Sunday routine

The productivity Sunday routine aims to prepare for the upcoming week. To have less stress or no stress if possible

How do I prepare for the next week

1-I start by reviewing the past week

2-Then, planning the upcoming week, how?

I look at my monthly plan, decide what I will do from it (taking into account my energy and how much realistically I can get done),

and I add extra things if I have time for it

Then block time to it on my calendar or so i used to do that, but I have been using a to-do list alone without a calendar.

I only add 3 work tasks and 3 others, while keeping urgency through making mini challenges and pushing at the end of the month

i am getting things done, and that’s what matters. So is my mental peace,

which ironically is what i feel using a to-do list right now, which, if you read my posts, you’d know I wasn’t a fan of

Now, i have found out that getting fixated on a method or a tool when it apparently isn’t working for me is a waste of time and stress-inducing.

Just because something worked once, that doesn’t mean it will work forever or vice versa

It’s ok to switch productivity methods, planning methods, tools,…etc, based on your needs and the season you are in.

if your productivity method/tool isn’t working for you, change it

Because the reason may be to your lack of results and productivity is the method/ tool you are using, it is not always your mindset

3-Sometimes, I do ingredients prep for the week, but I always prep recipes, so I don’t waste time wondering what to eat

Sunday evening routine

The intentions here are winding down and getting ready for a wonderful sleep to start Monday strong

I started with brushing my teeth using Dr. Ellie Phillips‘ Complete Mouth Care System (health activity)

After that, I do my Skincare. which is minimal, I start by cleansing, applying toner, serum, and end with moisturizer (health and well-being activity)

all the while watching something in the background

Then, prep bed, duaa/pray (spiritual activity)

Lastly, I get to bed and read, then sleep (health activity)

Think of activities that will help you wind down and relax

How I Spend My Sunday Ideas, Activities, Ways To Spend Sunday

At the end, setting intention is the most important thing to spend Sunday the way you want

I get the most out of Sunday by setting intentions and then planning activities based on that.

Otherwise, I’ll waste it on nothing I want

I prefer to do things to nourish my body, mind, and soul

So, think about your intention(s). Is it to recharge, prepare, have fun, or otherwise?

Then, plan what you will do accordingly

However, you spend your Sunday-lazy, productive, or somewhere in between

Just take a moment to reset/prep before Monday

    Your routine sounds much more relaxing and organised than mine!
    Mine consists of;
    Feed my 4 cats, wild birds and clean litter trays/ wild hedgehog houses;
    Grab a snack
    Give pets their dinner ;
    Read and surf the net for a bit;
    Have a shower;
    Feed pets and put food for the hedgehogs out;
    Have tea;
    Go to bed.
    I prefer your routine

    These are such wonderful ideas for a self-care Sunday!

    I have to go to my day job every other Sunday, but I try to make the most of the ones that I’m off by allowing myself a day of rest and some creative time. I also like to utilize Sundays as a reset day, and as a fresh start to the week, so it’s the perfect day to get back on track with my wellness, self-care routine, etc.

    Sunday also makes for a great day to get my grocery list together, plan my outfits for the week, and get everything together, even if I’m at work. I’ll often carry a notebook with me and plan everything at my workstation.

    This is a really nice idea I like the ‘guilt free’ Sunday off. In Bavaria they’re all about Sundays off so even the stores are closed. It’s a much needed reset. thanks for sharing 🙂
