5 Mindsets Keeping You Stuck As Female Entrepreneur

Warning: I want you to go into the post with an open mind. I am not trying to offend you or make you feel defensive this only to help you start observing yourself and becoming self-aware

let’s dive straight in!!!!

mindsets that keeping you stuck

These 5 Mindsets Keeping You Stuck In Business

1- Blaming And Complaining

“The weather is gloomy today, my boss always annoys me, today the traffic was horrendous I hate when it’s like that, my parents are the reason that I become a shy person because they didn’t push me, the government doesn’t support new businesses, there’re a lot of people that are doing the same thing I do, I couldn’t do X because I had no time…etc”

As you can see these are examples of complaining and blaming that sometimes it can feel like a fact of life but in truth. it’s not it’s what you think about the situation that made it feel like that

Blaming and complaining it’s common in societies around the world I bit there’re not any that don’t do it at some level even just slightly.

Blaming and complaining is bout living as a victim in your own life. by giving the power to the outside, living helplessly in your own life!!!

knowing this I want you to have compassion for yourself because you have been conditioned to think this way from an early age and everywhere you go people tend to encourage it as a form of a conversation starter, to bond around it.

To change this mindset

1st you must be compassionate with your self when you start observing yourself doing that

2ed know that this mindset served you to bond with others, to describe how you feel from that point of view

3ed now is the time to accept it and change it

4th the mindset shift that helps, in this case, is shifting from blaming and complaining to taking responsibility for your life.

what you think this going to help you shift from being a victim to the owner from being helpless to powerful and to take control of your life

The things that happen don’t have control over you it only appears so because you made them by being reactive to what happens.

your thought is yours alone no one outside of yous can affect unless you let them.

this may seem bizarre if you are new to personal development or this kind of work but that’s one of the few truth in life.

think about it taking responsibility means you don’t have to blame or complain instead take charge of your life through taking charge of your thoughts.

start practising this mindset. decide that you will take responsibility for your life and thoughts. catch the time you complain and repeat this thought to yourself

decide that you will take responsibility for your life and thoughts.

2-Living Feeling Guilty For What You Didn’t Do

The guilt is not a pleasant feeling as you know that. Guilt eats joy from your life, guilt makes what seems harmless feel painful

guilt manifest when thinking, you did something wrong. when you don’t do the right thing. when you break your standers or the standers of society.

when you think you’re or will be successful while others not. when you go against the morals and values of society.

even if you didn’t adopt them consciously but you did subconsciously.

through the repetition from listening to what your parents told you should feel and do in certain situations or from what they do.society as a whole.

As women, we are taught to feel guilty if we don’t take care of others, if we put ourselves above others, that we need to be selfless if we don’t we feel the guilt

Comes from thoughts like” I should have done this or that, you should do this or that, this is wrong, you did the wrong thing

yes, there’re certain things when need to feel guilty about but not everything and when we do so we need to pick ourselves up from staying too long in this feeling

To change this mindset

1st recognize that feeling guilty about anything is a choice and you have the choice to feel it or not, to label something as wrong for doing it or not

2ed feel it when it comes don’t try to stop it when something triggers this feeling in you because that will cause resistance and resistance only amplify the feeling or lead to numbing.

humans, I believe they need to experience all emotions but not to stuck in the negative all the time

3ed write down when it happens and what triggered it( the thought) and why

4th questions why you’re feeling it and why this situation, action, thought caused to feel this way. questions the guilt reasons.

-is it because that how you’re supposed to think about a situation or action? -is it because of what you have been taught to think in a certain type of situations that you carried with you to the present day?

question the standers; the right and wrong choose what you see right for you, what you want to think and feel about anything

3- Considering Your Thoughts 100%  True

What makes your thoughts true, just because they’re in your mind!?

you know since the beginning of your life as a kid, you believed them for too long that you see them as fact

Or because you think of them as fact when in life there are few facts and many thoughts that agreed upon from all

or most people but still that doesn’t make them true just common

you must question them especially the ones that don’t serve you towardwhat you want to create in your life and know what you know is what you were programmed, conditioned  to do, think

we think a lot of thoughts and repeat some in loop way and we aren’t aware of them or what our minds doing

Separate yourself and take a look at the thoughts you think, question them, and deliberately start choosing what you want to keep and what you want to abandon and what you want to think (become intentional)

how to do that?

1st observe your thoughts in a certain area or your thoughts about a certain goal

2ed write these thoughts them, journal about them. be the observer

3ed question them especially if they are not serving you.

example: if you want to start a business but you haven’t able to start yet take look why you haven’t because all the reasons you come up with are thoughts then take them down by questioning their truth

4th deliberately choose different thought and start practising the thought.

knowing that thoughts to stick in your mind need to be repeated and felt to cause action from your part

5th you don’t need to change all of your negative thoughts at once or at all. because you don’t need to have 100% positive thoughts all the time; just change what doesn’t serve toward your goals or life in general.

it will overwhelm you and overwhelm leed to numbing and not doing anything.

6th don’t feel guilty because you know and you haven’t been able to change be compassionate with your self. things take time

4- Making Things Difficult And Overcomplicating Things

“It’s hard, difficult, need a lot of work..etc” thoughts like these make you stuck because they’re not encouraging thoughts that going to help you take action but in fact stop you and make you procrastinate more.

overcomplicating things will only result in feeling disappointed, regret because when you overcomplicate things you don’t take action that will result in achieving nothing from what set to do

to overcome this mindset

1st observe your thoughts and when you experience such thoughts. what situations trigger them

2ed Question these thoughts

why is it hard? who said so? and why are they right why can it be easy, achievable?

why am I thinking this way? why this is hard, difficult? why isn’t easy?

is making it hard serving you in achieving your goal?

3ed start by adopting neutral thoughts if the positive thoughts aren’t helping

“It’s okay that it’s difficult but I am going to do it anyway, I can do the hard things

There’s always a fresh start, a first time for everything and this could be it “…etc

4th when you become aware of these thoughts ask yourself what can I do to make it eas? what it would look like if it were easy?

I recommend to journal about it to get more from your mind

5- Filtering New Information Based On What You Believe And Know About The Thing You’re Learning

This is a big one because that’s what we do. our brain always tries to make sense of the world around us and try to make it fit our own narrative and believe about it.

when you listen, watch and learn something new(here I mean new topic or an old topic you know but from different source/person )

your mind try to connect it to something you already know and filter the new information to fit your current thoughts about it

becoming an entrepreneur requires you to do a lot of learning and keep learning constantly.

if you keep yourself in this mindset you’ll be stuck. you’ll block your learning experience.

eg. be update on what’s new, learning financial ,legal stuff..etc

so, why not ditch this and become open and take things as it is. not trying to fit it to what you know and come with fresh ear even if you know the information before. recognize that you don’t know it unless you apply it

also, learning requires repetition to get this information into the long term memory and become easily accessible

to change this mindset

1st be open to learning and taking on new perspective on what you already know something about

2ed don’t try to fit the new things you’re learning to what you already know. come as a beginner even if you already know a lot about subject before

3rd take the new material as it is. notice when you try to dismiss by thinking thoughts like “I know that already”.

it’s very subtle you can’t catch if you’re not aware of it; then remind yourself ” I’m open to learning, I am going to listen/watch as a beginner”
